Welcome to the website of Rusina Wines. Located in Healdsburg, California, we're a tiny producer of hand-made Zinfandel sourced from small, family-owned vineyards in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley appellation. Our winery is named for Rusina, the Roman goddess called upon by ancient farmers to protect their fields and vineyards. As long-time Sonoma County residents and winemaking professionals, we've had the opportunity to walk through hundreds of acres of vineyards. Years of work has gone into the selection of vineyards and fruit that match the flavor profiles we seek. We craft the resulting wines literally by hand, using low-tech, minimumalist winemaking to capture the full character of the vineyards we're fortunate enough to work with. |
